The short version

The PDF tools on this site (merge, split, compress, convert, and the rest) process your files entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. We do not receive, store, or have any access to the documents you process.

What we don't collect

  • We do not upload the files you process to any server.
  • We do not read, scan, or retain the content of your documents.
  • We do not require an account or ask for personal information to use any tool.

What is stored locally on your device

  • Theme preference (light/dark mode) is saved in your browser's local storage so it persists between visits.
  • If your browser installs this site as an app (PWA), static assets like the interface itself may be cached locally by a service worker for offline use \u2014 this cache never contains documents you process.

Third-party services

This site loads a small number of open-source JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, jsPDF, SortableJS, FileSaver.js, JSZip) from a public content delivery network (CDN) so your browser doesn't have to re-download them from scratch across sites. These requests fetch static code files only \u2014 your PDF or image files are never sent to the CDN.

If advertising is enabled on this site (see the placeholder ad units throughout the page), the ad provider may set its own cookies and collect data per its own privacy policy, independent of the PDF tools themselves. When you enable a real ad network, disclose that here and link to the network's policy.

The Contact form

The contact form on this site is a static demo and does not currently transmit data anywhere by default. If you connect it to a form backend or mailto: action, update this section to describe what's collected and how it's used.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
